It's Friday!

It's Friday I was beginning to wonder if it would ever get here been a very long week to me for some reason! Guess I am stressing a little we have one week left until vacation and I am desperate to raise enough money to carry Audrey to camp it is looking very slim, but I have to remain faithful and just know that He is going to supply the need in order for us to be able to attend the camp.
In order to make up some money I have been doing a Avon fundraiser, but also this Sunday Night we will be doing a cake auction as well and also sale to anyone that would like to purchase.
Here are a few of the things we have.....
This is a Peanut butter and Chocolate cake made from scratch and it is delicious....we are selling for $30 or to the highest bidder at the auction.

Lots on my mind today!!!

Well little on my mind today to share.....first of all this picture made me smile so I wanted to share.....

Audrey did not go to camp as planned this week she is a little disappointed but the ones that she was going to ride with back out the last minute so she is home this week, not feeling really well having a battle with her sinuses.....

Audrey is 100% interested in attending every Holiness Youth Camp that she can this summer....some think that is crazy of me for letting her do this but this is something that will help her so much throughout the rest of the year. We are in the process of trying to raise money to go to Holiness Youth Camp in Lessburg, FL in a few days. Help me pray that the Lord will double the funds for us that we are raising in order for us to go. It is a blessing to be around those that are the same faith as you and know you are not the only one that is trying to live the Holiness life.

Well  to move on with the next note I read a book a couple of years ago and have started reading it again it really stuck with me so I wanted to share the highlights and quotes of some of the book and encourage others to read it as well. ....

Jentzen Franklin Right People, Right Place, Right Plan-I will just hit some highlights......
  • First chapter is Your Internal Compass -  The enemy will do whatever he can to get you to listen to his voice instead of the voice of God. He would like nothing better than to suggest the direction of your life> He will tell you that you have to be someone else- someone other than who God created you to be. You dont have to be somebody you are not because you are already what God wants. All believers have an anointing from God that provides them with insight. God has given every ordinary believer an extraordinary gift.
  • Chapter 2 - A feel for the real: Discerning God's Voice - You must learn to trust your spiritual ears. People often mistake other voices for God's. We need to realize we are never too old to be deceived. God leads not by your carnal mind or your flesh, but by your spirit. God has given us some indicators we need to recognize in order to discern God's voice. 1. Your Spirit can be stirred. 2. You can be led by your spirit 3. Your Spirit can have purpose. 4. You can be bound in your spirit. 5. Your spirit can give you peace about the right direction   If you dont have rest in your spirit about a relationship or a major decison that you're about to make, then I encourage you to give yourself some time to pray.
  • Chapter 3 - The nod of God - Discerning God's Will - Is this God's will or not????In Malachi 3:6 it says For I am the Lord, I change not. Too often we fail to ask God how He feels about our relationship, our financial investments, and the major decisions we make. If you presist without the nod of God, He may let you have it - literally. Sometimes we can't see what we should, but God is gracious enough to surround us with those who can, until we can see if for ourselves. God guides, He also provides. What God initiates, he will orchestrate. The flesh thrives on noise and busyness; the spirit thrives on stillness and Scripture. Jesus spent much time alone with God. If that was important to the Son of God, there are certaintley times when we must be alone with God as well. We are created for a particular purpose, and just one piece out of place can greatly affect all the other pieces of our life. There are seven ways in which discerning believers can truly experience God's guidance and determine God's will...Inner convictions, Scriptural confirmation, prophetic confirmation, Godly counsel, Circumstances (there are times when God will allow things to happen in your life in order to get you to move), the peace of God, Provision. You will be amazed at how involved God wants to be in your everyday life.
  • Chapter 4 - Right People - Faith people are the kind who will fill your life. They draw you closer to being the person God created you to be. They are the ones who will be lovingly honest with you. They are strong when you are weak. If God wants to bless you he will send a person, if Satan wants to curse you he will send a person. . The people we marry - sitting still and waiting is the hardest thing to do (this is one of the areas I am struggling in) One rebellious disobedient man can take a whole shipload of people down with him. When you allow the wrong people in your life, you're keeping them from God's best.
  • Chapter 5 - Right Place - Suffering never leaves you where it finds you; you either become bitter, or better. God doesn't leave you where he finds you, he has a proper placement for just you. We are to seek God's face not His hands. We want a handout but God wants a face--off. You will never fly if you are too comfort. You will never change that which you are willing to tolerate. God has a way of making us move out. It's called discomfort. Proper placement releases the glory of God on your life. If you will listen and obey God's voice, His glory will be your rewarding. How do you discover the right place? repent - Stop doing your own thing, pray for God's timing and God's place, and expect divine guidance.
  • Chapter 6 - Right plan - There is a right plan. One idea from God can change your life. God's plan often comes through unexpected evenest that force you in a direction you never would have gone. God has a habit of picking up nobodies and making them somebodies. We like to be called by God, but for every calling there is discipline. With praise comes prophecy, direction, and God's plan for your life.
  • Chapter 7 - Wait on God - God has a perfect time and a correct way for everything. We can get ourselves into trouble when we don't train ourselves to wait on Him. God does not push, he leads, God does not force, he leads. If you don't use discernment, if you don't wait on the Lord, it's only a matter of time before it catches up with you! You don't want to be ignoring everything God told you your Goliath comes.
  • Chapter 8 - Guarding the Unguarded moments - One unguarded moment can lose your reputation, testimony, and ministry. The discerning believer sees potential in people when they don't see it . Never underestimate the power God has placed in you to discern for loved ones.
  • Chapter 9 - Unlocking discernment with prayer - The greatest people on earth are those who pray. Prevailing prayer is having the tenacity to hold on until something happens. Prayer and discernment go hand in hand. The miraculous works of God were the results of insatiable hunger for change. The apostles knew that ministry without prayer was powerless.
  • Chapter 10 - Discerning Women Always make a difference - Scriputre's message is there is weakness in strength and strength in weakness. If He brought you this far, God can get you from where you are to where you ought to be. There are four steps to being set free....Trace it, face it, erase it, replace it. Life has done nothing to you that God can't use for good., if you put it in His hands.
  • Chapter 11 -The discerning Man is a real man - Reputation is who people think you are. Character is who your family knows you are. There are wounds only a father can cause, and wounds only a father can heal! Men must develop spiritual discernment to feel when things aren't right in the household.Power withholding itself is far greater than power exerting itself.
  • Chapter 12 - Unmasking the marriage assassins - Deception is Satan's number one weapon, and discernment is our number one defense. Marriage Assassin #1 - A long marriage is a secure marriage. #2 Selfishness and a preoccupation with you. #3 Immaturity, #4 Manipulation, #5 Lack of Commitment, #6 Promiscuity, #7 Stress, #8 Economic Pressure, #9 Outside Interference, #10 Unforgiveness, #11 comparing, #12 The Wrong Environment. The reality of marriage can't compare wtih the fantasy of the Internet. The greatest institutions on earth are the family and the church, which is why Satan targets them both.
  • Chapter 13 - Discerning Sexual Temptation - Sexuality is God's gift to you, You must protect it and fight for its purity. It's easy to compromise in little ways, but they are more harmful than they seem. You can measure the kind of Christian you are by the cost you're wiling to pay. If you wait on God and remain pure, He will bring you a mate when the time is right. There are intimacies reserved for friendship, courtship and some only for marriage.
  • Chapter 14 - Discernment to win your family - She lived out her faith and it provoked her husband to crave what she had.You must reach beyond romance to responsibility beyond sex to sensitivity. If you dont want to face the devastation of divorce, you need to make your marriage work. sometimes discernment means being quiet until God tells you to speak.
  • Chapter 15 - A life worth remembering - God will never ask you to do what you can't do. Don't allow family pain or shame to hold you hostage to the past. Jesus doesn't just want to be with you in church. He wants you to take Him home and into your daily life.
This book is well worth reading I am out of time, but more tomorrow......

Camp, Camp, Camp!!! What Fun it is!

Praise God! Audrey had a great time this week at Canaanland Youth Camp in Winston, GA! She came home refreshed and renewed! She met a lot of new friends, but most of all her spirit was renew and she has a different outlook on a lot of things. She didnt take many pictures but I will post what I can.....

She had such a good time....I went to the service on Friday Night and WOW to see that many young people worshiping, singing, and praising the Lord was just awesome.
Audrey hasn't had as much as she would like though she has decided this summer to feel it will going to as many Youth Camp's as she possibly can...So on Saturday after we got home we started round two of packing....

Tomorrow, Tuesday, June 12th Audrey will leave once again to head to The Rock, GA for Emmanuel Holiness Youth Camp. I pray she has a great time as she did this last week!
She will come home on Friday and we will leave on June 23, 2012 heading to FL to Holiness Youth Camp in Leesburg, FL if the Lord will......

I feel totally blessed and honored to be Audrey's mother. When you can sit back and see your daughter be a blessing to others, but also receive blessings it just does something to you that you can never explain. I am so proud of her and thankful the Lord has allowed me to be her mom!!!

Psalm 121

A scripture on my heart today.....

Psalm 121

King James Version (KJV)
121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore
