Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
From a commentary out of my bible.....Out warfare against the spiritual forces of Satan calls for an intensity in prayer, praying "in the spirit" "always""with prayer and supplication," "for all saints," "with all perserverance." Prayer is not to be seen just as another weapon, but as part of the actual conflict itself, where the victory together with God Himself. To fail to pray dilgently, with all kind of prayer in all situations, is to surrender to the enemy.......

Mark 11:24T herefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
From a commentary out of my bible... Faith that receives is not something humanly produced; rather, it is a believing faith imparted to the believer's heart of GOd Himself. Sometimes the fulfillment that true faith desires is granted immediately; at other times it is not. Yet God gives the faith that the prayter has been heard and the request will be granted. The uncertainty concerns the time of the fulfillment, not the granting of the request.
